Scholarships
for Winners
at Livestock Competitions
Each year South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation provides
scholarships at the South Carolina State Fair held in Columbia.
SC Farm Bureau donates a total of $10,500 to six livestock
competition winners. They include two junior beef scholarships
at $2,500 each, one junior dairy scholarship for $2,000, one
junior swine scholarship for $1,500, one youth equine
scholarship for $1,000 and one junior wether goat
scholarship for $1,000.
ELIGIBILITY: South Carolina students in grades 10-12 or
presently enrolled in a SC college/university four-year program
and who have not passed their 20th birthday as
of the date of the show may compete for the scholarships by
entering their livestock in the appropriate competition and
submitting a scholarship application.
