Orangeburg County Residents Appointed to State Farm Bureau
Committee
COLUMBIA, SC – Orangeburg
County
residents Jonathan and Beth Berry were recently appointed to
the South Carolina Farm Bureau (SCFB) Young Farmer and Rancher
Committee by SCFB President David Winkles.
Winkles said, “We are fortunate to have young
leaders like Jonathan and Beth represent their area’s young
farmers on our state committee. We look forward to their
development as long-serving leaders of the Farm Bureau
family.”
The Berrys operate a diverse row crop and beef
cattle operation along with their family in the Branchville
area of Orangeburg
County.
In addition, Jonathan serves on the Orangeburg County Farm
Bureau Board of Directors.
While serving on the SC Farm Bureau Young
Farmer and Rancher Committee, the Berrys will have the
opportunity to participate in leadership development programs,
share concerns of South Carolina farmers with policy makers in
Washington, D.C. and at the Statehouse. They will also
represent South Carolina at the 2006 American Farm Bureau
Young Farmer and Rancher Conference in
Des Moines,
Iowa.
The South Carolina Farm Bureau Young Farmer and
Rancher Program serves young farmers between the ages of 18
