Membership Structure The South Carolina Farm Bureau (SCFB) is a non-profit federation of county chapters associated with the American Farm Bureau Federation. We are a family-oriented, active organization led by volunteer grassroots farmer members and we count on the support farmers and non-farmers alike to help us promote the benefits of agriculture in South Carolina. SCFB serves the entire agricultural community through education and a unified voice in government for the benefit of everyone, since agriculture is an integral part of our state and all of our lives. As a member of the County Farm Bureau members help us carry out our mission - to promote agricultural interests in the State of South Carolina and to optimize the lives of those involved in agriculture while being respectful to the needs and concerns of all citizens in our state. Furthermore, we believe in tradition and heritage. We respect the rights of people, their property and their religion. We value our grassroots and family orientation. We pride ourselves on being a good neighbor and a good citizen of South Carolina. Just like membership in so many other non-profit organizations Farm Bureau members are entitled to a wide variety of benefits and services.
