House Passes Farm Bill

WASHINGTON, DC – Wednesday, May 14, 2008, the House passed the Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008, the Farm Bill (H.R. 2419), by a vote of  318-106.   This bill seeks to modernize farm policies to help provide a better safety net for the future.  The Senate will continue debate this morning, Thursday, May 15, 2008.
